31.71 are specialist headhunters operating in the non-food FMCG sector, particularly Consumer Electronics and its close associates.
Initially they instructed Octen Web Design to redesign their existing site in 2007, but have since taken out an annual contract and, on our advice, moved their web hosting provider.
.31.71 instructed us to design three new web sites in the spring of 2009 as part of a marketing strategy developed in the wake of the prevailing economic climate. Offering specific solutions to the challenges facing recruitment, .31.71 have targetted both clients and candidates within their core competencies.
JDR MINERALS LIMITED
JDR Minerals were still in the process of setting up their business when they contacted Octen Web Design. They required an e-Commerce site for their range of 100% pure mineral make up.
Octen Web Design provided advice on shopping cart providers, payment gateways as well as designing the site and taking photographs of JDR Mineral's models and some of the product samples.
The site went 'live' in September 2008.
TAVERN FANTASY LEAGUE
Originally organised by a group of friends at the Norton Tavern, this football fantasy game now has players across the U.K. and as far away as Australia. The web site helps keep everyone in touch!
Enthusiasm for the competition was beginning to wane after several seasons, but the ability to select teams and make transfers on the web, as well as checking the latest standings, helped attract new players.
The site was originally published in August 2007.

The brief from Purple Training included the design of their Corporate logo and strap line.
U GO CHEAP
A specialist provider of bespoke weekend trips to the top football matches in the FA Premiership.
As a sole trader Phil wanted a simple site to reinforce his principle marketing tool, printed flyers. Octen Web Design were faced with a very tight time scale if the business was to maximise its sales as the 2008/09 season reached its climax.The web site was 'live' just three days after the initial brief was agreed.
THE BLUE BELL AT BISHOPTON
The new owners of the Blue Bell in Bishopton were looking for a web site to promote both the pub and their voutside catering business and chose Octen Web Design after carefully researching the various design Companies in the area.
We built two complimentary themed web sites to promote both aspects of the business..
L&M TILING
L&M Tiling offer a specialist tiling service in Teesside covering all aspects of ceramic tile fitting. The business was started in 2007.
Needing a showcase for his work, L&M approached Octen Web Design with a brief for a simple web site and with a limited budget. We were able to fulfil his brief ... and under budget!
UK ENTREPRENEUR ASSOCIATION
The UK Entrepreneur Association, part of the Million Impossible group, was formed in 2007 with the aim of creating a network of members across a varied cross section of businesses.
Members are offered discounts by fellow members, and can benefit from increased turnover and reduced costs by mutual trading.

When one of the UK Entrepreneur Association's Directors looked into starting a new Company, Octen Web Design were the natural choice to design the business web site.
